Bishkek, June 19, 2026 /Kabar/. On June 19, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov and President of Albania Bajram Begaj attended the ethnocultural program presented as part of the Albanian leader's official visit to Kyrgyzstan.
The event took place at Nomad Amphitheater in Bosteri village, Issyk-Kul region.
The heads of state were greeted by improvising akyns (aqyns), who demonstrated the richness of Kyrgyz musical and poetic art.
Then, the guests were treated to installations reflecting the cultural and historical heritage of the Kyrgyz people, including craft workshops, the traditional nomadic way of life, and the structure of the yurt.
The ethnocultural program concluded with a demonstration of traditional competitions: archery, a parade of stunt riders, hunting with falcons, and a competition involving the ancient Taigan breed of greyhound.
