Bishkek, April 3, 2026. /Kabar/. President Sadyr Zhaparov today, April 3, inspected the activities of Dastan Transnational Corporation OJSC.
According to the presidential administration, the head of state inspected the plant's production facilities, including the existing production lines for specialized products. One of the plant's key areas of focus is the production of torpedoes.
During the visit, particular attention was paid to the further development and modernization of the plant.
Sadyr Zhaparov noted the need to actively implement modern technologies and improve the competitiveness of domestic products.
Furthermore, the president instructed relevant government agencies and the plant's management to explore the possibility of organizing the production of domestically produced unmanned aerial vehicles.
This objective is aimed at strengthening the country's defense industrial potential, developing high-tech industries, and reducing dependence on imported products.
