Bishkek, April 16, 2025. /Kabar/. “We attach great importance to the development of the social sphere, including providing our people with affordable and high-quality housing,” President Sadyr Zhaparov noted today at the grand opening of new blocks of the residential complex built by the State Mortgage Company on Kubanychbek Malikov Street in Bishkek.

The head of state emphasized that today's presentation of the keys to the apartments is the successful completion of the second stage of construction of the large-scale complex.

"Within the framework of this project, it is planned to build more than 5 thousand apartments, which will be gradually transferred to citizens on the waiting list for housing. At the end of last year, we already gave keys of 510 apartments to citizens in need as part of the first stage of construction of this complex. Full completion of the construction of the residential complex is planned by the end of 2026," Sadyr Zhaparov noted with satisfaction.

At this stage, five 18-storey buildings were erected, designed for 476 apartments. In total, the residential complex will include thirty-nine blocks of 18 and 24 floors.

"Kyrgyzstan is a social state, therefore, the development of the social sphere, including providing citizens with affordable and high-quality housing, is of great importance," the president emphasized.

Sadyr Zhaparov noted that those who are on the waiting list to receive an apartment include young families, teachers, doctors, state and municipal employees, law enforcement officers, as well as compatriots working abroad. Thus, the My Home program provides mortgage financing on affordable and long-term terms. This will provide an opportunity for citizens in need to become owners of their own homes.

The head of state noted that solving social problems in the field of housing will entail sustainable economic development and improving the standard of living of citizens.

In addition, the president emphasized that foundations have been laid for the construction of new residential complexes in different regions of the country. Currently, more than 60 thousand apartments are being built throughout the republic. He expressed confidence that with the help of the mortgage mechanism, the state will provide housing to all citizens in need.

He also focused on the high rate of construction of houses and strict requirements for their quality. Each project takes into account seismic safety, energy efficiency and the availability of infrastructure, including schools, kindergartens, sports grounds and other facilities.

At the end of his speech, the head of state emphasized that the housing policy being pursued will be consistently continued.

Then President Sadyr Zhaparov inspected the new apartments and talked with the residents, wishing them that their homes would always be cozy and prosperous.
