The average monthly salary in January 2026 amounted to 45,797 soms, an increase of 16.1% compared to the same period last year, according to the National Statistical Committee. According to their data, taking into account price increases, real wages increased by 6.3%.
Payments increased across all sectors. The most significant increases were in the following industries:
- Administrative and support activities – by 49.4%
- Healthcare and social services – by 35.8%
- Energy (gas, electricity, and steam supply) – by 30.5%
- Professional, scientific, and technical activities – by 27.8%
- Real estate transactions – by 23.1%
- Agriculture, forestry, and fisheries – by 25.3%.
