Bishkek, March 2, 2026 /Kabar/. Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan continues to work to protect the rights and ensure the safety of citizens in the Middle East. Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan discussed possible evacuation, according to Seitek Zhumakadyr uulu, Director of the consular department.
According to him, the Kyrgyz consulates in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, and Jordan are making every effort to resolve citizens' problems on the ground.
"There are no casualties among our citizens." The situation in these countries is stable. Citizens whose hotel reservations have expired are being reaccommodated in the same hotels.
Kyrgyz tourists are experiencing some difficulties in Dubai and Qatar. Alternative evacuation routes are currently being developed and phased measures are being implemented. Negotiations have been held with the Kazakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and proposals for jointly resolving the issues that arise have been voiced," Seitek Zhumakadyr uulu reported.
