Bishkek, June 5, 2026 /Kabar/. During his working visit to St. Petersburg, First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Daniyar Amangeldiev held a series of bilateral meetings with heads of Russian regions on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
According to Cabinet of Ministers, Daniyar Amangeldiev met with Alexey Besprozvannykh, Governor of the Kaliningrad Region. During the dialogue, the parties discussed a wide range of cooperation issues in the agro-industrial complex, culture, tourism, and industry. Following the meeting, Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund and the Kaliningrad Region Development Corporation signed Agreement of Mutual Understanding and Cooperation.
He then met with Vologda Region Governor Georgy Filimonov. The parties discussed promising areas of cooperation and outlined ways to expand trade, economic, and cultural ties. Following the meeting, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the government of the Vologda Region (Russian Federation) and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Daniyar Amangeldiev also met with Aisen Nikolayev, head of Sakha Republic (Yakutia). During a productive dialogue, the parties discussed issues of expanding trade, economic, scientific, technical, and social cooperation. The meeting resulted in the signing of an Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers and the Government of the Sakha Republic on trade, economic, scientific, technical, and social-humanitarian cooperation.
