Bishkek, Dec. 22, 2025. /Kabar/. Since 2020, the country's economy has experienced high growth, Deputy Chairman of the State Tax Service Mirlan Rakhmanov said in his interview with the "Ala-Too LIVE" program.

He noted that while international experts estimated the shadow economy in Kyrgyzstan was 40% in 2020, today it has dropped to 20%.

"This shows that we have doubled the transparency of the shadow economy. If in 2020 we collected approximately 90 billion soms in taxes, this year tax revenues have already reached almost 300 billion soms. The consolidated budget for the country as a whole has already exceeded 1 trillion soms. This demonstrates the stable development of the country's economy," he stated.
