Bishkek, July 3, 2025. /Kabar/. On July 2, as part of a working visit to Moscow, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov held talks with President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin in narrow and expanded formats.

The heads of state discussed current issues on the bilateral agenda, including in the trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian and migration spheres, and expressed satisfaction with the high level of Kyrgyz-Russian strategic partnership and alliance achieved.

Vladimir Putin noted the positive dynamics in economic cooperation, emphasizing the stable growth of trade between the two countries, including its significant increase in the first months of this year.

He also noted the active work of Russian enterprises in Kyrgyzstan and confirmed Russia's status as one of the country's leading trade and economic partners.

The Russian president highly praised the effectiveness of the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund, with the assistance of which a number of significant projects have been implemented that contribute to the economic growth of Kyrgyzstan.

He also emphasized the importance of humanitarian cooperation, in particular in the field of education. Currently, 200 Russian teachers work in 43 schools in Kyrgyzstan. Plans are being implemented to increase the number of schools with instruction in Russian.

Vladimir Putin expressed gratitude to the Kyrgyz side for granting the Russian language a special status, noting that this contributes to the deepening of cooperation in both the humanitarian and economic spheres.

In conclusion, he thanked the leader of Kyrgyzstan for the constructive dialogue and interest in further strengthening bilateral ties.

In turn, Sadyr Zhaparov expressed confidence that this meeting made it possible to discuss issues of strategic partnership and alliance in the interests of both states.

The head of state noted that there is complete mutual understanding and trust between the countries. There are no political disagreements and contradictions.

He also focused on the great potential for expanding cooperation in the fields of energy, transport, industry and agriculture.

In this regard, the president noted the successful work of the Kyrgyz-Russian intergovernmental commission on trade, economic, scientific, technical and humanitarian cooperation.

Following the talks, the leaders of the two countries confirmed their intention to continue to strengthen multifaceted cooperation in all key areas.
