Bishkek, April 25, 2025. /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov today, April 25, took part in the planting of trees as part of the second day of the International Conference “Global Mountain Dialogue for Sustainable Development: Towards the Summit Bishkek+25”.

The presidential press service said that, the ceremony of planting Tien Shan spruce seedlings was held in the Ala-Archa Nature Park with the participation of distinguished guests of the international conference.

A fair of mountain products, as well as a short concert program, was organized at the venue of the event.

The head of state and honored guests visited the exhibition pavilions, where they got acquainted with products from all regions of the country. National drinks, medicinal and tea herbs, wool and felt products, traditional Kyrgyz treats - boorsoks, honey and much more were presented here.

As a sign of respect for the participants and in the spirit of Kyrgyz hospitality, President Sadyr Zhaparov presented the participants with symbolic gifts: traditional ak-kalpak headdresses for men, and national headdresses and elements of Kyrgyz clothing for women.

The event concluded with a tree planting ceremony, symbolizing the unity of efforts of the participants of the Global Mountain Dialogue in the protection of the environment and sustainable development of mountain regions.
