Bishkek, Sept. 25, 2026 /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan and the United Arab Emirates have discussed the potential implementation of an investment project to establish a modern pedigree livestock farm in Kyrgyzstan during a meeting between Ilich Marsbek uulu, First Deputy Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, and a UAE delegation led by Dr. Humaid Al Kaabi.
According to the Agriculture Ministry, the parties examined issues regarding increasing livestock productivity and quality, implementing modern breeding and reproduction technologies, and improving animal housing conditions and veterinary care.
Particular attention was paid to the possibility of importing high-yield pedigree animals into Kyrgyzstan, creating modern infrastructure for their maintenance, and developing a feed supply base.
Discussions also covered the enhancement of breeding and genetic work, veterinary support, and the training of qualified specialists for the sector.
The project implementation plan includes ensuring compliance with veterinary and sanitary requirements, as well as the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic. Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to continue working together and to examine in detail the possibilities for implementing the investment project.
