Bishkek, Aug. 26, 2026 /Kabar/. On August 25, the US kok boru team arrived in Bishkek to compete in the 6th World Nomad Games. The team was greeted by Kuvvatbek Askarbekov, Secretary General of the International Kok boru Federation, and representatives of the organization.
The team, led by captain Ledda Fouvel, consists of nine players.
The US team traveled to the Bishkek Arena, where the opening ceremony of the World Nomad Games will take place on August 31. The athletes will spend one day in Bishkek and then travel to Cholpon-Ata on August 26. There, the team will conduct training sessions.
The US kok boru team has been participating in the World Nomad Games since 2014. This time, the American team's trip was financed by the International Kok Boru Federation.
