Uzbekistan’s foreign trade turnover reaches $18 billion in the first quarter

According to the National Statistics Committee, Uzbekistan’s foreign trade turnover totaled $18 billion in January-March 2026, UzA reports..

The figure represents a 2.7% increase compared to the same period last year.

Exports amounted to $5.8 billion, down 29.3%, while imports rose to $12.2 billion, up 30.8%.

During the reporting period, Uzbekistan conducted trade with more than 170 countries worldwide.

The largest shares of Uzbekistan’s foreign trade turnover were recorded with China (25.6%), Russia (18.2%), Kazakhstan (7.2%), Türkiye (3.6%), and Afghanistan (2.8%).
