Bishkek, Jan.19, 2026. /Kabar/. Ministry of Internal Affairs and TSARKA Kyrgyzstan have officially launched a joint project aimed at protecting the population from financial fraud.

As the department reported, the parties signed a memorandum of cooperation.

The project is based on international experience that has proven its effectiveness in countries such as Japan, Singapore and the United Kingdom. Its main tool is a "visual pause": mock-ups of police officers installed near ATMs break the psychological pressure on fraudsters, allowing citizens to stop and think and make a decision.

As world practice shows, such measures contribute to reduction in financial crimes by up to 40 percent. TSARKA Kyrgyzstan and Ministry of Internal Affairs aim to proactively protect the financial security of citizens through this initiative.
