Bishkek, July 10, 2026 /Kabar/. Today, one of the final training seminars on national sports is being held for volunteers of the 6th World Nomad Games, according to Minister of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy Mirbek Mambetaliyev.
Mirbek Mambetaliev also expressed his gratitude to the State Sports Agency for sending lecturers to train the volunteers.
The minister noted that volunteers submitted their applications on website specifically for the selection process. This portal received over 9,700 applications, from which 700 volunteers were selected.
"We focused primarily on knowledge of foreign languages. We also paid special attention to ensuring that candidates had experience participating in other large-scale national and international events " the minister said.
He added that a reserve of volunteers has also been formed in case someone falls ill, leaves, or is unable to participate due to family circumstances.
According to the minister, this is the tenth training session on national sports. Previously, volunteers were trained in greeting guests, how to communicate with them, how to provide first aid, and were also introduced to the locations where the games will be held, ensuring they have full information.
Mirbek Mambetaliev also reported that in addition to volunteers from Kyrgyzstan, there will also be volunteers from other countries, primarily from Central Asia—Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
