WorldSkills Kyrgyzstan 2026: Winners anounced in Bishkek

Bishkek, April 17, 2026. /Kabar/. On April 17, the awards ceremony for the winners of the 3rd National Championship of Skills, WorldSkills Kyrgyzstan 2026, was held in Bishkek. The Ministry of Education reports.

The event was attended by Minister of Science, Higher Education, and Innovation Gulzat Isamatova, Deputy Education minister Mukhtarbek Baimurzaev, founder of the WorldSkills Kyrgyzstan public foundation Kuvan Zhusuyev, and others.

Minister of Science Gulzat Isamatova noted that Kyrgyzstan's accession to WorldSkills International opens new horizons for the development of vocational education and allows the country to effectively represent its interests on the global stage.

In the national finals, 23 students who won the regional rounds competed in three competencies: Welding, Cooking, and Fashion.

Winners in the Welding category:

1st place — Tursunbek Asanbaev, Vocational School No. 22 (Issyk-Kul Region);

2nd place — Esen Maksutov, Vocational School No. 62 (Osh Region);

3rd place — Yaroslav Chernenko, Vocational School No. 27 (Bishkek).

Winners in the Cooking category:

1st place — Darya Asanova, Vocational School No. 18 (Bishkek);

2nd place — Nuraim Muratova, Vocational School No. 22 (Issyk-Kul Region);

Third place – Zarina Idizova, Vocational School No. 47 (Chui Region).

Winners in the Fashion Technologies category:

First place – Hanifa Syrgakova, Vocational School No. 18 (Bishkek);

Second place – Rayana Koichugulova, Vocational School No. 110 (Talas Region);

Third place – Naima Madyun, Vocational School No. 56 (Chui Region).

The winners of the championship will form the national team of Kyrgyzstan. "They will have the opportunity to participate in the 48th WorldSkills International Competition, which will be held from September 22 to 27, 2026, in Shanghai, China," the statement says.
