Bishkek, Sept. 23, 2025. /Kabar/. On September 22, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov met with former British Prime Minister and current Executive Chairman of the Institute for Global Change Tony Blair in New York.

The presidential press service said that the prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the Institute for Global Change were discussed.

President Zhaparov briefed Tony Blair on Kyrgyzstan's promising national projects.

Particular attention was paid to discussing cooperation in de-bureaucratization. The president emphasized that the recommendations for de-bureaucratization presented by the Institute for Global Change are under consideration.

Tony Blair thanked President Sadyr Zhaparov for the meeting and the meaningful dialogue. Tony Blair discussed the activities of the Institute for Global Change, which provides advisory support to governments on issues of public administration modernization, economic development, digital technologies, education, and more.

In this context, he praised the steps taken by Kyrgyzstan's leadership and emphasized that he is closely monitoring the positive changes taking place in the country, as well as efforts to improve the public administration system.

Tony Blair expressed his willingness to continue cooperation and share accumulated experience in de-bureaucratization and the implementation of projects in tourism, investment, and banking.
