Bishkek, April 1, 2025. /Kabar /. Festive events dedicated to the international holiday of Nooruz were held on March 31 at the central stadium of Khujand.

The heads of three states addressed the audience: President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

In his address, Sadyr Zhaparov emphasized that securing the state border is not just a political and legal process, but an important step towards strengthening good-neighborliness, stability, security and joint development.

He noted that Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan are linked not only by their geographical location, but also by their common history, spiritual traditions and, most importantly, common future.

The President of Kyrgyzstan emphasized that the settlement of border issues has become one of the key achievements of recent years. Thanks to political will and mutual trust, the leaders of the countries were able to approach the solution of this complex and vital issue responsibly and constructively.

“Our peoples can live in peace and harmony, engage in creative work, and make plans for the future. In this context, the joint celebration of Nooruz, which symbolizes renewal, peace and unity, is of particular importance,” Sadyr Zhaparov noted.

Concluding his speech, President Sadyr Zhaparov cited folk wisdom: “Three trees growing side by side strengthen one land with their roots.” He emphasized that Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan are like these trees, whose strength is in unity, whose branches reach for the future, and whose roots feed the soil of friendship and harmony. After the official part, a gala concert was held with the participation of cultural and artistic figures from Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
