271,000 tourists visited Kyrgyzstan's nature parks in 2025

Bishkek, June 22, 2026. /Kabar/. In 2025, 271,000 tourists visited Kyrgyzstan's eight nature parks. Deputy Minister of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision Almaz Musaev told at Jogorku Kenesh Committee.

According to him, the most popular nature parks among vacationers are Sary-Chelek, Kyrgyz-Ata, and Besh-Tash.

"The entrance fee is divided into three categories: for local citizens, for visitors from the CIS, and for tourists from further afield. Prices range from 150 to 700 soms," he said.

Musaev clarified that of the 271,000 tourists, 250,580 were local residents, 13,700 were tourists from the CIS, and 6,800 were citizens from abroad.

He also reported that digitalization work is currently underway in the nature parks.

According to the deputy minister, there are currently 23 specially protected natural areas in Kyrgyzstan, 20 of which are under the ministry's jurisdiction. Of these, 10 are nature reserves, where tourists are prohibited from entering. The remaining 10 nature parks are open to visitors.
