30 electric vehicle charging stations installed across Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, June 11, 2026. /Kabar/. "National Electric Grid of Kyrgyzstan" OJSC has installed the first 30 electric vehicle charging stations across the country.

According to the company, the charging stations were located in populated areas and strategic tourist destinations, especially along the Bishkek-Torugart road. Including:

  • Chui region - 14 units;
  • Naryn region - 8 units;
  • Issyk-Kul region - 6 units;
  • Talas region - 2 units.

"The capacity of each station is 120 kW, allowing for rapid charging of electric vehicles in a short time. The project is being financed from the own funds of the National Electric Grid of Kyrgyzstan OJSC," the report says.

By the end of the year, the number of such stations across the country is planned to reach 100.
