Bishkek, April 1, 2026. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan's Batken and Fergana region of Uzbekistan sign cooperation agreement, Batken oblast administration reports.
According to the information, the document covers trade and economic, scientific and technical, social, cultural and humanitarian sectors.
According to the agreements on cooperation between the Fergana region and the Batken, Kadamjai districts and Kyzyl-Kiya city of Batken region, the parties will cooperate in creating favorable conditions for entrepreneurs, cooperation in the agricultural sector, exchange of experience, implementation of joint investment projects, as well as in the fields of education and tourism.
The documents were signed by representatives of the two regions.
These works are being carried out in accordance with bilateral agreements and the "Road Map" signed by the presidents of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
