Bishkek's local budget revenues reach 30.6 bln soms

Bishkek, Feb. 12, 2026. /Kabar/. Local budget revenue trends over the past five years show increase of 22.1 billion soms, a 3.6-fold increase, First Deputy Mayor Mirlanbek Baigonchokov at the final board meeting of the Bishkek Mayor's office.

According to him, this positive trend indicates a significant strengthening of the revenue base and increase in the financial capacity of the city's local budget. At the end of 2025, actual local budget revenues amounted to 30.6 billion soms, exceeding the revised plan by 3.8%, or 1.1 billion soms more.

Tax revenues also totaled 20,363.1 million soms, exceeding the plan by 105.4%, or 1,036.6 million soms more than planned. Compared to 2024, the growth rate of actual tax revenues was 122.5% (actual – 16,626.0 million soms, an increase of 3,737.1 million soms compared to last year).

In addition, non-tax revenues amounted to 2.9 billion soms, and targeted transfers amounted to 7.3 billion soms.

As a reminder, today at Tunguch Theatre, the final meeting of the Bishkek city mayor's office, "On the results of Bishkek's socio-economic development in 2025 and objectives for 2026," was held under the chairmanship of Adylbek Kasymaliev, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration.
