Bishkek, Jan. 29, 2025. /Kabar/. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Head of the Presidential Administration Adylbek Kasymaliev met with Regional Director of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Nicolas Rallo.
During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and ICAO in the field of aviation, the press service of the Kyrgyz Cabinet reported.
Adylbek Kasymaliev expressed gratitude to the organization for comprehensive support of the aviation sector of Kyrgyzstan and added that the results of the ICAO audit in 2023-2024 confirmed the compliance of the aviation system of the republic with international standards.
“We view the aviation industry as the main instrument of Kyrgyzstan's integration into the global economy and are ready to implement ambitious projects, such as entering the international aviation market through Asman Airlines. In the near future, we intend to continue to strengthen the human resources potential of the aviation sector, provide the State Civil Aviation Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers with the necessary funds and improve the qualifications of inspectors. These actions will contribute to the sustainable development of the industry and strengthen the position of Kyrgyzstan in the international aviation arena,” he said.
In turn, Regional Director of the International Civil Aviation Organization Nicolas Rallo expressed the readiness of ICAO to further strengthen cooperation with Kyrgyzstan and provide comprehensive support in the field of aviation.
He told about the plans to sign a number of documents on cooperation with the State Civil Aviation Agency of Kyrgyzstan in the near future.
