Cabinet of Ministers: Fuel situation in Kyrgyzstan is under control

Bishkek, Nov. 20, 2025. /Kabar/. Cabinet of Ministers continues to actively ensure the country's fuel and lubricant supply, stated Bakyt Torobayev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry.

According to him, all oil depots in the country currently have the required fuel and lubricant reserves. Cabinet of Ministers, together with the country's oil traders, is negotiating with government agencies and refineries in the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the Republic of Kazakhstan, which is resulting in the supply of petroleum products to Kyrgyzstan, he said.

Torobayev noted that fuel and lubricant supply is under the daily supervision of the relevant government agencies, and the situation has stabilized.

He added that the heads of government agencies, local authorities, and relevant companies have also been instructed to daily monitor the availability of sufficient fuel and lubricant reserves and coal for the population and social facilities, monitor prices and quality, and ensure uninterrupted heat and electricity supplies on enhanced basis.

In addition, it was ordered to implement the established plan in a timely manner and in full.
