Discussions at the 19th Forum of Creative and Scientific Intellectuals of the CIS Member States will help develop concrete solutions for the implementation of new joint projects, Minister of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy Mirbek Mambetaliev speaks at the event.
"Today marks the 19th Forum of Creative and Scientific Intellectuals of CIS Member States. Representatives from all CIS countries are participating in the event. The forum coincides with the 20th anniversary of the Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation, the 35th anniversary of the founding of the CIS, and the upcoming 100th anniversary of the birth of great writer Chyngyz Aitmatov. These forums have been held in CIS countries on rotating basis since 2006, and this is the third time Bishkek has hosted one. Our capital was chosen as the venue for this event for a reason, as the city is rapidly growing and developing. "The forum's work covers all key areas: science, education, culture, information, tourism, sports, and youth policy," the minister said.
He also added that for the professional community, this forum is practical proof of the sustainability of joint research schools, the strength of academic ties, and interstate cultural exchange.
For information, Bishkek hosting CIS 35 Years exhibition, plenary session, and number of events during the forum, they will adopt final resolution at the forum.
