Bishkek, Feb. 5, 2026. /Kabar/. Daniyar Amanaliev, Chairman of the Creative Industries Park, stated that Central Asia's creative economy is becoming the region's largest growth point at B5+1 forum.
According to him, Kyrgyzstan is already demonstrating global success: the YouTube channel D Billions has garnered 20 billion views in less than three years, and the Creative Industries Park has created more than 170 companies, created 800 jobs, and generated over $200 million in revenue in two years, paving the way for the export of cultural and digital products to the global market.
"The creative economy is what we breathe and consume 24 hours a day. And you know, some people think it's something unimportant or uninteresting, but believe me, in Central Asia, it's the most exciting thing happening."
D Billions has official letter from YouTube confirming this record. D Billions alone has three diamond buttons. Diamond button on YouTube means a channel has reached over 10 million subscribers. They have three channels with over 10 million subscribers each. Kyrgyzstan also holds two diamond buttons from other companies. That's five buttons in total. And that's just in Kyrgyzstan.
And this is the largest export of Kyrgyz products to America and the world. Many children around the world know D Billions and other Kyrgyz products, even if they don't realize it," he said.
He noted that they founded their company in 2016, ten years ago, and it has been growing ever since. They operate in bootstrap mode, meaning they don't attract venture capital. They currently have 10 creative hubs, assets under management of approximately $100 million, and all hubs are profitable, which is incredible for a complex industry.
Daniyar Amanaliev emphasized that in Kyrgyzstan, as in other Central Asian countries, the IT sector plays a special role. And this government decision has proven to be one of the best ever. IT is developing very rapidly. In 2025, the IT sector's exports surpassed such important sectors as agriculture and textiles, becoming the second-largest export sector after mining.
"Today, we see the growth of the Creative Industries Park:
* More than 170 resident companies
* More than 800 jobs
* More than $200 million in revenue last year
Not all of this is export, but in the next stage, companies will become strong and begin exporting. "Residents include architectural firms, film producers, and other creative companies," he noted.
Head of the Creative Industries Park also added that Kyrgyzstan is one of the few countries where local films account for more than 50% of box office revenue. Local comedies attract more viewers than blockbusters like "Avatar." And almost all of these films are financed by private investors, making investing in film very profitable.
"We need to harmonize our vision for the creative economy and prioritize it for the entire region, and this will become an excellent product even for the US market," concluded Daniyar Amanaliev.
