Bishkek, June 18, 2026 /Kabar/. The Cybervision 2026 contemporary art exhibition will open at 3:00 PM on June 19 at the Gapar Aitiev Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts. The Ministry of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy reports.

According to the ministry, the exhibition is dedicated to understanding the future through the interaction of art, technology, and the cultural heritage of Central Asia.

"The project offers a new perspective on the cyberpunk genre." "The focus is not on themes of fear and control, but on human connection, creative thinking, local culture, and technology as a tool for creating a new artistic language," the organizers note.

The exhibition's creators examine modern technology through the lens of Central Asia, presenting it not only as a symbol of progress but also as a source of cultural identity, local creativity, and new ideas.

Furthermore, on June 20, starting at 12:00 PM, the project will feature musical performances dedicated to the longest day of the year, as well as themes of light, energy, and the future.

The exhibition will run until July 4.
