Bishkek, Sept. 2, 2026 /Kabar/. Today, the drawing lots for the participants of the upcoming kok-boru and kokpar tournaments took place in Cholpon-Ata.
Following the draw, the seven teams that confirmed their participation in the kok-boru tournament were divided into two groups:
- Group A: Kyrgyzstan, Russia, USA, Uzbekistan.
- Group B: Hungary, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan.
The kok-boru tournament starts on September 2.
Following the draw for the kokpar tournament, the teams were also divided into two groups:
- Group A: Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Mongolia.
- Group B: Hungary, Kazakhstan, Russia.
Seven teams will participate in the kokpar tournament.
