Bishkek, Nov. 25, 2025. /Kabar/. The tense situation in the fuel market still remains, Azat Kozubekov, Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, stated at briefing today. He emphasized that this is primarily due to ongoing maintenance work at Russian oil refineries, as well as rising costs of fuel and lubricants imported from the Russian Federation.

"For example, in Kyrgyzstan, gasoline prices as of November 14 of this year increased by 17.3%, while diesel fuel prices increased by 13.4%. In the services and non-food segment, there has been slight price rise, reflecting the impact of strong demand and the indirect effect of rising fuel prices. Thus, the inflation rate in Kyrgyzstan since the beginning of this year as of November 14 was 7.3%. Annual inflation as of the same day reached 8.9%," he said.

He also noted that, thanks to measures taken by the National Bank, inflation in the Kyrgyz Republic remained relatively moderate compared to countries in the region through 2025. Core inflation, which excludes the cost of the most volatile goods, remained within the target range, Azat Kozubekov added.
