Bishkek, Dec. 15, 2025 /Kabar/. Forum on national pilot label launch and the development of climate finance in Chatkal district is taking place in Bishkek today. The event is being organized by the Regional Investment Council.
According to Decree No. 237 of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic dated September 15, 2023, in order to promote innovative agricultural development, produce environmentally friendly and export-oriented products, modernize irrigation infrastructure, and implement green economy principles in rural areas, Chatkal district administration has prepared a comprehensive socio-economic development program aimed at the sustainable development of Chatkal district. The program, titled "Eco-Chatkal 2030: People. Nature. Development," has undergone public and interdepartmental discussions.
The forum is attended by Special Presidential Representative Dinara Kemelova, representatives of local governments, international organizations, ministries and agencies, foundations, the business community, and residents of Chatkal district.
