Bishkek, June 9, 2026. /Kabar/. The XI International Dance Olympiad was held in Bishkek on June 5-7.
According to the Ministry of Culture, the event was attended by strong dancers and teams from different countries.
The Olympics included more than 100 disciplines, and various genres were presented, from hip-hop and K-pop to oriental, Bollywood and national dances. Representatives of the age group from 3 years and on participated in cultural event.
The program included:
Central Asian Championship (in all dance styles);
"Vershina" festival (unrated format);
Asian Championship in sports majorettes and baton twirling;
International tournament in cheerleading "Kyrgyzstan open";
Bishkek city championship and championship in cheerleading.
At the end of the Olympics, the best participants and teams were recognized as winners, and special nominations and awards were presented.
