International event dedicated to culture and tourism of Kyrgyzstan held in New Delhi

Bishkek, Feb. 21, 2025. /Kabar/. The Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in India together with the Women's International Club organized an international cultural event in New Delhi to popularize the culture of the Kyrgyz people, traditions, and the country's tourism potential.

According to the diplomatic mission, the embassy presented a country presentation to the guests of the event with historical data, popular tourist routes and attractions, measures taken to develop tourism, intercultural exchange, and the preservation and development of national traditions and values.

The presentation also announced the role and efforts of the Kyrgyz Republic in promoting the mountain agenda on the international stage and noted the initiatives being promoted within the framework of the implementation of the "Five Years of Action for the Development of Mountain Regions" and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), and a separate stand was organized for a photo exhibition of paintings with mountain landscapes of Kyrgyzstan. The presentation was accompanied by a showing of tourist videos and handouts in the form of brochures.

A separate block for the participants of the event presented the dances with elements of traditional Kyrgyz folk movements, rhythms, clothing.

In conclusion, the guests were offered treats of Kyrgyz national cuisine.

Women’s International Club consists of women diplomats of foreign Embassies accredited in India and women leaders of public organizations of the host country. The club has about 135 members, the purpose of which is to promote cultural interaction between people of different cultures and communities.
