Bishkek, Jan. 23, 2026. /Kabar/. Plant for the production of organic agricultural fertilizers is being built in Nookat district, Osh oblast administration reports.

According to the information, the project is called the "Organic Fertilizer Technopark", and construction work will be carried out in four stages. Currently, the construction of the first stage is approaching 50 percent, power lines have been laid on the site where the plant will be built, a transformer has been installed, and special building has been built by investors to facilitate the installation of equipment.

Equipment worth $15 million has been installed by Chinese investors. Production was planned to be launched in 2025, but construction work has been delayed for some reasons.

Head of the region Amankan Kenzhebayev received detailed information on construction work from a representative of investors and discussed the issues that have arisen.

It is worth noting that the first phase of the plant, once operational, will enable the production of 100,000 tons of organic fertilizer per year and create new jobs.

The total project cost of the plant is $260 million.
