Bishkek, April 21, 2026. /Kabar/. F1H2O World Championship, a world championship in high-speed water racing, commonly known as Formula 1 on Water, to be held in Kyrgyzstan, agreement signed in Bishkek.
According to Tourism department, official events for the championship are scheduled for July 31, and the race itself will take place on August 1-2 on Issyk-Kul Lake.
According to the department, the choice of Issyk-Kul as a venue was driven not only by its unique natural beauty but also by the region's high potential as an international arena for major sporting and tourism events. Hosting this prestigious event will be a key milestone in promoting Kyrgyzstan on the global stage, strengthening its image as a country capable of hosting top-level competitions, and developing event-based and sustainable tourism.
