As of December 1, 2025, 1,199 enterprises with Kazakh capital were operating in Uzbekistan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the National Statistics Committee, Kazakhstan ranks fourth in terms of the number of enterprises with national capital in Uzbekistan, following China, Russia, and Turkiye.

The majority of Kazakh-invested enterprises are concentrated in trade, with 492 companies in this sector. A significant presence is also observed in industry (129 enterprises), information and communication (127), construction (82), and other types of economic activities (263).

Additionally, Kazakh businesses are represented in agriculture, forestry, and fisheries (21), transport and storage (33), accommodation and food services (39), and healthcare and social services (13).

Experts note that the expansion of the geographical and sectoral distribution of joint enterprises reflects a high level of trust between the business communities of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan and underscores the growing attractiveness of Uzbekistan for foreign investors.
