Kumtor's revenue amounts $1.434 billion in 2025

Bishkek, April 1, 2026 /Kabar/. Kyrgyzaltyn OJSC reviewed the Kumtor Gold Company CJSC activity report for 2025.

According to Buzurman Subanov, Chairman of the Management Board of Kumtor Gold Company CJSC, 12,081 kg of gold were mined at Kumtor during the reporting period.

The company's revenue in 2025 amounted to $1.434 billion, and net profit exceeded $706 million. $246.5 million was transferred to the budget in taxes and other payments. Decision was also made to pay $300 million in dividends.

During the annual general meeting of shareholders, Kubat Abdraimov, Chairman of the Board of Kyrgyzaltyn OJSC, emphasized the need for thorough preparation for the tailings waste management project.

According to him, the main goal of the project is to improve the environmental situation by processing tailings containing over 121 tons of gold. Particular attention should also be paid to the underground mining project and the development of the Togolok deposit.

The first ore is expected to be mined at the Togolok deposit this year, and production of the first pre-soldier will begin next year. All projects must be implemented strictly within the established timeframes and without delays.

During the meeting, Kubat Abdraimov also noted that, in implementing the company's objectives, special attention must be paid to ensuring industrial safety at the Kumtor mine and developing human resources. Specifically, it is necessary to strengthen control measures, including additional staff training, advanced training, and systematic inspections of the activities of structural divisions.

Following the shareholders' meeting, the Kumtor Gold Company CJSC activity report for 2025 was approved.
