Bishkek, Nov. 19, 2025. /Kabar/. Revenues from major government projects and increased fiscal activity in Kyrgyzstan have increased significantly, according to Daiyrbek Orunbekov, head of the information policy department of the presidential administration.

According to him, the opening of new facilities has become real, as schools, social facilities, and industrial facilities are being built at accelerated pace. "It used to be that 111 schools were commissioned in a year. If we divide this by 365 days, it turns out that one school was completed every three days," he noted.

Orunbekov emphasized that this large-scale construction was made possible by reforms in the customs and tax services, as well as the efficient operation of Kumtor mine, which presently generates 100% revenue for the benefit of the people.

For January–October 2025, Kumtor's total revenue amounted to 80 billion soms, compared to a planned 55.127 billion soms. The company's net profit reached 36 billion 900 million soms, almost three times higher than the planned 13 billion 373 million soms.

Tax and mandatory payment revenues to the republican budget amounted to 16 billion 272 million soms, compared to the planned 14 billion 43 million soms.

Furthermore, based on the 2024 results, 13 billion 49 million soms were transferred in 2025 as dividends, exceeding the planned 12 billion 900 million soms.

According to Daiyrbek Orunbekov, these funds are being used for road repairs, construction of social facilities, and addressing problems that have been accumulating for decades. "When the main social issues are resolved, the majority of the revenue will be directed toward the country's development," he added.
