Bishkek, Jan. 27, 2026. /Kabar/. Significant funds were received by the Kyrgyz budget between 2021 and 2025 following the transfer of the Kumtor mine to state control, according to Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev.
According to him, approximately $5.115 billion (over 400 billion soms) were received from production activities. Approximately $1.176 billion was received in taxes and other payments, and an additional $441 million in dividends.
Head of the Cabinet noted that revenues from Kumtor played a significant role in strengthening the state's financial capacity.
