Kyrgyz Cabinet discuss increasing country's export potential

Bishkek, March 25, 2026 /Kabar/. First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Daniyar Amangeldiev chaired a regular meeting of the Export Development Council.

The main goal of the meeting was to develop practical solutions for increasing the country's export potential and creating the most favorable environment for domestic business. Heads of relevant government agencies and representatives of the business community participated in the discussion.

Daniyar Amangeldiev emphasized that, in accordance with the instructions of Kyrgyz president support for domestic producers is a strategic focus for the Cabinet of Ministers.

One of the key topics of discussion was the launch of a pilot project to partially reimburse exporters' transportation and logistics costs. This measure is intended to significantly reduce the cost of domestic goods shipped to foreign markets, increasing their competitiveness.

Participants paid special attention to expanding business access to financial resources. Specialized preferential credit line, "Export Contract Financing," was presented at the meeting.

This instrument is aimed at promptly covering exporters' cash flow gaps and replenishing working capital, secured by insurance instruments and guarantees.

The meeting was held in open communication format, where representatives of domestic companies had the opportunity to directly voice their initiatives and problematic issues. Daniyar Amangeldiev listened to entrepreneurs' proposals for improving customs administration and eliminating technical barriers to trade. Summing up the meeting, he gave a number of specific instructions to the relevant government agencies.

"All initiatives announced today will be tested on a pilot basis. Based on the results of this phase, we will conduct a thorough analysis of the effectiveness of these measures, after which the support mechanisms will be implemented on a permanent, full-scale basis," Daniyar Amangeldiev concluded.
