Bishkek, Nov.10, 2025 /Kabar/. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev met with First Deputy Secretary General of the Commonwealth of Independent States Igor Petrishenko.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to the early parliamentary elections in the Kyrgyz Republic. It was noted that the CIS observer mission has been accredited as international observers for the early parliamentary elections. Igor Petrishenko is the head of the CIS observer mission.
Chairman of the Cabinet noted that the head of state has set a clear goal for all government bodies: to ensure a free, open, and transparent electoral process that precludes any interference in the elections. According to him, in this regard, Kyrgyzstan has invited a broad representation of international observers, both bilaterally and through reputable international organizations.
"We attach particular importance to the participation of international observers from the CIS mission, the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly, and the observation missions from Commonwealth member states. The traditional presence of the CIS mission has always been a symbol of trust, partnership, and solidarity for us," said Adylbek Kasymaliev.
In turn, CIS First Deputy Secretary General Igor Petrishenko reported on the activities of the mission to observe the upcoming elections in Kyrgyzstan.
