Bishkek, March 26, 2026. /Kabar/. Minister of Emergency Situations Kanatbek Chynybaev met with Chinese Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Liu Jiangping.
According to Ministry of Emergency Situations, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation in emergency prevention and response. Particular attention was paid to the implementation of joint projects aimed at modernizing the Ministry of Emergency Situations' material and technical infrastructure and enhancing the agency's operational capacity.
They also discussed exchange of experience in emergency medical care and mine rescue operations. Minister expressed gratitude to the Chinese side for the donated assistance, including the donation of firefighting equipment and mobile hospitals, emphasizing its importance in strengthening the response system and improving public safety.
In turn, Ambassador Liu Jiangping congratulated the minister on his appointment and reaffirmed China's commitment to further developing cooperation. She also noted the importance of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway project and initiatives within the Belt and Road Initiative.
