Bishkek, April 8, 2025. /Kabar/. In order to improve the provision of consular services, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as diplomatic missions and consular offices, launched the website of the information system “Electronic Consul” - www.e-consul.gov.kg.
On the website, citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, foreign citizens and stateless persons can obtain the following information:
- list of consular services provided by diplomatic missions, consular offices and Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic;
- information on conditions of foreign travel depending on the type of passport;
- contact details of diplomatic missions and consular offices of the Kyrgyz Republic and other useful information.
The website also provides an opportunity to receive online consultations in Kyrgyz, Russian and English on a wide range of consular services such as: visa applications, passport registration, registration of civil status records, applications for citizenship of the Kyrgyz Republic, legalization of documents issued by state authorities of the Kyrgyz Republic and foreign countries and other aspects of consular services.
Consultations are available on a 24-hour basis online, including through social networks - Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Telegram.
To improve the accessibility and convenience of consular services, the following new online services have been launched:
- Remote consular registration and deregistration through cloud-based electronic signature;
- Electronic appointment at diplomatic missions and consular offices to receive government (consular) services, which allows citizens to choose a convenient date and time for their visit.
