Bishkek, June 1, 26. /Kabar/. Today, June 1, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov inspected the living conditions of graduates of boarding schools left without parental care.
The head of state was informed that temporary housing for orphans who were fully supported by the state has been organized in Bishkek using the State Mortgage Company (SMC) housing stock.
It was noted that after graduating from boarding schools and vocational schools, many graduates, forced to leave the dormitories of educational institutions, faced the problem of housing shortages when they began living independently. To provide social support to this category of youth, SMC has allocated a specialized social guesthouse for young people, where graduates can live while studying at higher education institutions or while seeking employment.
The apartments are divided into two separate units – one for boys and one for girls.
All the necessary living conditions have been created here to facilitate their adaptation to independent living, education, and further planning for their professional future.
Currently, the facility is home to 25 graduates of boarding institutions aged 16 to 18 (10 boys and 15 girls). All are graduates of boarding schools and vocational schools in Bishkek, as well as the Chui, Issyk-Kul, and Osh regions.
President Sadyr Zhaparov inspected the residential premises, familiarized himself with the students' living conditions, and spoke with them, inquiring about their educational plans and career aspirations.
Sadyr Zhaparov emphasized that since assuming office as president in 2020, one of his priorities has been providing housing for orphans.
They will subsequently be eligible for priority inclusion in the list of participants in the state housing cooperative programs to purchase their own housing. They will also be able to use the 500,000 som savings deposit provided under the state program "Kelechekke Salym" for this purpose.
During the meeting, the young people were able to ask the head of state questions, sharing their life stories and plans for the future.
The students also requested the organization of a summer camp for recreational recreation, noting that they are permanently confined to their institutions during the school year and are unable to travel. The head of state instructed the relevant government agencies to promptly resolve this issue.
At the end of the meeting, President Sadyr Zhaparov wished the graduates success in their studies and careers, urging them to be meticulous, thrifty, and orderly, and stressed the importance of receiving a quality education and actively integrating into society.
