Bishkek, May 11, 2026. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz military personnel are participating in the international joint military exercise "Efes-2026" in Izmir,Turkiye.
According to the Ministry of Defense, the exercise started on April 20, and will be held up to May 21, and military contingents from a total of 17 countries participate.
"This contributes to the exchange of international experience and strengthening military cooperation," the report says.
As part of the approved training plan, 28 training centers were organized, covering various areas of modern warfare techniques and the use of new technologies.
As noted, preparations for the active phase are currently underway in accordance with the exercise scenario.
