Bishkek, June 8, 2026 /Kabar/. As part of the official visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cyprus Constantinos Kombos to Kyrgyzstan, a meeting was held between the heads of the foreign ministries of the two countries to discuss priority areas of cooperation.

According to Nuran Niyazaliev, Director of the Third Political Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, during the talks, special attention was paid to the further development of economic, trade, and investment cooperation.

"Cooperation in tourism was also discussed. Since Cyprus has extensive experience in this area, developing a partnership in this area will help increase mutual tourist flow between the two countries.
