Bishkek, Feb. 23, 2026. /Kabar/. Farkhat Iminov, head of secretariat of the National Council for the development of virtual assets and blockchain technologies under the President, held a video conference with Justin Sun, founder of the global blockchain platform TRON.
According to the Secretariat, during the meeting, Iminov presented information on the activities of the National Council, the dynamics of the virtual asset market, and key institutional and regulatory changes. San emphasized the dynamic development of the virtual asset sector in Kyrgyzstan and noted the great potential for cooperation and project implementation with TRON.
The parties also discussed scaling the Kyrgyz national stablecoin, KGST, which is already listed on leading global cryptocurrency exchanges, including HTX, whose ecosystem is closely linked to TRON. In this context, they discussed the potential for synergies with TRON's infrastructure for the further development of KGST, including technological integration and expansion of its online transaction environment.
TRON is one of the world's leading blockchain ecosystems, dominating cross-border transactions on the stablecoin (USDT) network. The network boasts high throughput and a large user base of over 360 million people worldwide. In many countries, it is the preferred blockchain for issuing digital financial instruments (including stablecoins).
