Kyrgyzstan appoints representative to TURKSOY

Bishkek, May 11, 2026. /Kabar/. Marat Tagaev has been appointed Kyrgyzstan's representative to the international organization TURKSOY, Ministry of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy reports.

It is noted that Tagaev has been dismissed from his position as Deputy Minister of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic, pursuant to a submitted application. The corresponding order was adopted in accordance with Kyrgyz legislation.

At the same time, in accordance with the Regulation on the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports, and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic and Article 4 of the Treaty on the Establishment and Operating Principles of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY), an order was issued regarding the new appointment.

This appointment is aimed at further developing Kyrgyzstan's cultural and humanitarian cooperation with Turkic-speaking states, as well as strengthening international cultural ties.
