Bishkek, March 31, 2026. /Kabar/. A 100-megawatt solar power plant has been commissioned in Kemin region of Kyrgyzstan, Deputy Energy Minister Nasipbek Kerimov told at a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh (Parliament) committee.
According to him, Bishkek Solar LLC is currently implementing a project to build a solar power plant with a total capacity of 300 MW. The first 100 MW are planned to be commissioned by the end of August this year.
In addition, a 1900 MW solar power plant is planned for construction in partnership with the Redsa investment company, with 450 MW expected to be operational by the end of the year.
"A 400 MW plant is also being built with the participation of another investor, and the project is expected to be completed by the end of the year. Another investor is building a 100 MW facility, 50 MW of which will be operational by the end of the year," he said.
