Bishkek, March 19, 2026 /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan has 195 digitized government services, approximately 70% of which are fully automated, Azamat Zhamangulov, Minister of Digital Development and Innovative Technologies of the Kyrgyz Republic told on Birinchi Radio.

According to him, this work is ongoing and will not be completed, as both the services and the needs of the population are growing.

"We have already accumulated a critical mass of the most in-demand government services used by our citizens. The remainder are semi-automated, meaning they operate from the application stage, but in any case, the citizen will still need to come and collect the result," he noted.

Zhamangulov emphasized the need to work on developing proactive government services.

"Proactive government services are when citizens don't contact government agencies themselves, but government agencies take care of them," he noted.

The minister explained that this means: if a child is born, the maternity hospital transmits the information, and the relevant government agencies prepare the birth certificate, registration with a specific family health center, vaccination schedule, and so on. To avoid the need for the citizen to collect all these documents themselves and submit them to, for example, a school or kindergarten, the relevant government agencies will independently transmit the information, and the child will only need to come and begin attending the school.

He added that work in this area will continue.
