Kyrgyzstan is interested in attracting Chinese technologies and investments for the development of renewable energy, industrial production, agricultural processing, and infrastructure and tourism projects. Uluk Kydyrbaev, head of the secretariat of the Business Development and Investment Council told journalists at the Kyrgyz-Chinese investment forum.
According to him, one of the priority areas is energy, particularly the development of solar and wind power.
"Today, the entire world is faced with the challenge of generating sufficient electricity. China is far ahead in solar and wind energy. "In 2025, the country generated 11 trillion kWh of electricity. I believe the two countries are already working in this direction and will continue to do so," Kydyrbaev noted.
He also cited the scale of industrial development in China, where electric vehicle production reached 16.5 million units last year.
Kydyrbaev emphasized Kyrgyzstan's interest in establishing joint ventures with Chinese investors and Kyrgyz entrepreneurs. Promising areas include industrial production and advanced processing of agricultural products.
Furthermore, promising areas of cooperation include tourism and infrastructure, including the construction and development of railways, roads, bridges, and tunnels.
According to Kydyrbaev, Kyrgyzstan is interested in applying Chinese experience and technology, given its location in Central Asia.
"It is important to implement this practice, attract the best technologies to Kyrgyzstan, and implement projects that will benefit both our country and the entire region," he concluded.
