Bishkek, Oct. 30, 2026 /Kabar/. The judicial system in Kyrgyzstan has unveiled two new digital platforms: a module for the "Professional Performance Evaluation of Judges" (available on the kenesh.sot.kg portal) and an online appointment-booking service for citizens to meet with the leadership of the judiciary. Supreme Court reports.

According to the press service, these tools were demonstrated to the Chairman of the Supreme Court, Mederbek Satyev.

A key feature of these projects is that they were developed entirely in-house by the judicial system. The business processes and expert conceptual framework were prepared by a digitalization working group, while the technical design and software development were carried out by specialists from the Information Technology Department of the Supreme Court’s administrative office.

It is noted that by avoiding the use of third-party contractors, the judiciary was able to optimize costs, enhance information security, and tailor the services precisely to the practical needs of the courts.

The judge evaluation platform automates routine calculations and eliminates subjective bias. It compiles a comprehensive digital profile for each judge covering a four-year period, assessing performance across three competency categories (with a maximum score of 100 points) by utilizing mechanisms such as the random selection of judicial acts and the analysis of video recordings from court hearings.

The online appointment service allows citizens to schedule meetings with the leadership of the Supreme Court remotely; it streamlines the handling of inquiries and facilitates better communication with the public.

Mederbek Satyev expressed a positive assessment of the new developments, emphasizing that the judicial system must keep pace with the times, remain closely connected to the public, and improve access to justice.
